PRIVATE COACHING · DENVER & ONLINE

Why now?

Because “fine” can stop being enough long before anything is obviously wrong.

Maybe something in your life is genuinely falling apart. Maybe, confusingly, it isn’t. You have things you worked for, people you care about, a life that looks pretty decent from the outside—and you still keep wondering whether this is really how you want to be living it.

Or maybe you already know what needs to change.

You just haven’t been able to make it stick.

You’ve thought about it. Talked about it. Read about it. Tried being harder on yourself. Tried being more patient with yourself. And somehow you keep arriving back at the same question:

So what do I actually do now?

Bring the decision, pattern, or feeling you keep circling. The introductory conversation is free.

· · ·

WHAT COACHING IS

A place to get
oriented.

Coaching is a structured conversation for getting oriented: where you are, what keeps repeating, what matters, and what would help you move with more clarity.

We look at what you want, what is getting in the way, and what may be hard to see from inside the problem. I’ll bring curiosity, perspective, challenge, and structure—but I’m not here to become the authority on your life.

Sometimes you need a plan. Sometimes you need a different way of seeing the terrain. Sometimes you already know the answer and need help taking it seriously.

The goal is orientation. Then we put it to work: how you think, communicate, make decisions, and follow through.

  1. 01

    Orient

Name the terrain: change, self-compassion, needs, communication, and planning.

  2. 02

    Recognize

Notice where those patterns show up in your own life.

  3. 03

    Choose

Decide the next honest step instead of trying to solve everything at once.

  4. 04

    Practice

Try it between sessions. Bring back what happened.

  5. 05

    Integrate

Keep what works, adjust what doesn’t, and return to the path.

MEET YOUR COACH

You probably don’t need another person telling you what you should be doing.

You’ve probably already thought about the problem quite a bit. You may even understand it remarkably well. What you’re looking for is someone who can help you see what you’re missing, get underneath the patterns that keep repeating, and turn all that insight into something you can actually use.

That’s where I tend to be helpful.

I’m a Professional Certified Coach with a background in psychology, behavioral health, therapeutic wilderness work, integration coaching, self-compassion, mindfulness, and behavior change. Over the years, I’ve worked with hundreds of people in some very different settings—from one-on-one coaching conversations to therapeutic backcountry expeditions, mental health programs, and support through significant life experiences.

When we talk, I’m warm, curious, and direct. I listen closely, but I’m not going to spend an hour politely nodding at you. I’ll ask questions, notice patterns, point out contradictions, and tell you when I think you might be avoiding something or making life harder than it needs to be.

I’ll also tell you when I don’t know.

You’re welcome to disagree with me. In fact, I hope you do when something doesn’t fit. I’m not interested in becoming the authority on your life. Good coaching should make you more capable of trusting your own judgment, not more dependent on mine.

I also don’t expect you to show up polished.

You can bring the decision you can’t make, the habit you can’t seem to keep, the relationship you don’t understand, the goal you keep putting off, or the vague but persistent feeling that something in your life needs to change.

We’ll start there.

I’m based in Denver, Colorado, and primarily work with clients remotely.

A little about how I got here

I studied Research Psychology at New College of Florida, where my undergraduate work focused on self-compassion in LGBTQIA+ individuals and was later presented at Teachers College, Columbia University.

After college, I spent four years in therapeutic wilderness work, completing more than 8,000 hours and 500 field days working with teens and young adults navigating major challenges. I eventually became a Senior Field Guide Mentor, training other guides in leadership, crisis response, emotional regulation, and group process.

Since then, my work has included private coaching, mental health coaching and group work, preparation and integration coaching, somatic approaches, mindfulness, and crisis support. I’ve worked with more than 750 clients across more than 1,500 hours of coaching and built programs ranging from focused 30-day work to year-long engagements.

It’s a somewhat unusual professional path.

I like that about it.

Each part has taught me something different about people: psychology taught me how to study patterns; wilderness taught me what happens when theory collides with real life; coaching taught me how much can change through the right conversation; and years of working with people in difficult moments taught me not to underestimate either how complicated we are or how capable we can be.

Beyond the sessions

Outside of coaching, I write, DJ, spend a slightly unreasonable amount of time making Chinese tea, study Daoism, practice hot yoga, and get outside whenever I can.

One of my long-running projects is Dao De Jing · The Exquisite Corpse, a comparative study built from years of collecting and examining different English translations of the Dao De Jing.

That project has influenced the way I think about people more than I expected.

The same few lines can look completely different depending on who translated them and when you read them, no matter how many times you come back to them. Neither interpretation necessarily has to be useless—or even wrong. Human beings are often like that too.

There is usually more than one way to understand what’s happening.

Part of my job is helping you find the one that gives you somewhere useful to go.

What working together is like

Our work can be thoughtful without becoming painfully serious.

There will probably be difficult conversations. There will also be humor, tangents, strange metaphors, practical experiments, and occasionally a 2,500-year-old Chinese philosopher wandering into a conversation about your dating life or procrastination.

Whatever we use, I care about whether it helps.

If something is useful, we keep it.

If it isn’t, we don’t.

And if we discover that the thing you thought you came in to work on isn’t really the thing at all?

Good.

Now we have something interesting to talk about.

COACHING, ONE MONTH AT A TIME

Start with sessions.
Build from there.

Bring what is happening now: a decision, a relationship, a habit, or something you want to work out. Monthly coaching follows your priorities. Programs offer a longer sequence of themes and practice, with each session building on the last.

INTRODUCTORY RATE

3 sessions · $300

A first opportunity to work together and get a feel for coaching before choosing your next step.

Payment options

$300.00 total coaching fee. The balance owed to Kairosia must be paid no later than seven days before your program or monthly period ends. Your agreement lists the actual dates.

Pay the package invoice at enrollment, or agree on a split with the final balance due by the deadline.

1 invoice of $300.00. If Pay in 4 is offered and approved for an invoice, its four repayments would be $75.00 each.

1 of 1At enrollment$300.00$75.00 at checkout, then every 2 weeks × 3

Weeks here mean elapsed time from enrollment (week 0), not the numbered session weeks. Dates are illustrative and are confirmed against your actual end date. The sample balance deadline is elapsed week 2; your written agreement sets the actual calendar date.

PayPal, cards & other payment options

PayPal Pay in 4 may be offered on eligible U.S. purchases of $10–$2,000: a quarter at checkout, then three payments every two weeks. Each invoice requires its own approval. Availability depends on the client, location, merchant and transaction; it is not promised for recurring subscriptions.

If you use approved third-party financing, the provider pays the invoice upfront. You then repay the provider under its own agreement; those repayments may continue after your coaching ends.

Pay Monthly or other financing may appear at eligible checkout. Interest and terms vary; review the APR, total repayment amount, and dates before accepting. Available card and wallet choices will be shown on your actual invoice.

An eligible credit card may let you pay on its statement due date. Timing depends on your billing cycle and how the issuer treats the transaction. Card interest or fees can still apply, even when the PayPal plan is interest-free. There is no guaranteed ten-week extension or interest-free card period.

PayPal currently excludes Capital One, Citibank and Chase credit cards from these loan repayments; other restrictions can apply. Confirm eligibility in PayPal and with your card issuer. No card brand is guaranteed to work.

HOW WE GET STARTED

Start with a real conversation.

01

Find your bearings

Tell me what has been circling in your life. We’ll look at the terrain and whether coaching together makes sense.

02

Choose the right support

Start with the introductory three sessions for $300, a monthly individual or paired package, or a deeper program. We’ll discuss the schedule and payment options. I am not currently accepting insurance. Sliding-scale pricing can be negotiated as needed. Once we’ve agreed on the details, we confirm your first invoice or credited program deposit and the remaining payment dates.

03

Begin the practice

Use what we cover. Bring your questions, results, and the things that didn’t go to plan.

YOU MAY BE WONDERING

Questions before
you choose a path.

A good choice should feel informed. You’re welcome to ask about the work, the commitment, or the practical details before deciding.

How do I know if coaching is right for me?

You might have a specific decision to make, a pattern you want to change, or a sense that your life no longer fits. Coaching gives you regular time to examine it, choose what to try, and follow through. Our introductory conversation is a chance to discuss your situation and see whether we work well together. You do not need to arrive with a polished goal.

What actually happens in a session?

We start with what is happening in your life and what you want to work on. We might unpack a difficult conversation, question an assumption, or use a program exercise to look at a decision differently. We finish by identifying what you want to take into the week. Private program sessions are 90 minutes; monthly coaching sessions are 60 minutes.

What could I get out of working together?

Depending on your goals, progress might mean having a conversation you have avoided, following a routine you chose, recovering from a mistake with less self-criticism, or making a decision you have been postponing. We agree on what progress means for you and review real examples along the way. Outcomes depend on your circumstances and participation; they are not guaranteed.

How personal is a structured program?

The program gives us a sequence of themes. Your experiences give those themes meaning. We apply the material to your relationships, habits, decisions, and priorities. You do not need to know the I Ching or Dao De Jing beforehand, and you are welcome to question the ideas.

What do I do between sessions?

Practice what we agree on, notice what happens, and bring that back. That may mean trying a conversation, reflecting on a reading, or changing one routine. We discuss what is realistic for your week. Between programs, two integration weeks give you space to apply the work without a private session.

Do I have to commit to a full year?

No. Four Seasons connects all four programs, but focused programs and monthly individual or paired coaching are also available. A monthly package is the usual starting point before a program unless we agree otherwise. We discuss that first step and the full commitment before you enroll.

How do scheduling and holidays work?

We agree on your start date and meeting times before enrollment. The tables show an example, not live availability. Holiday dates and any planned absences need to be agreed together; rescheduling and cancellation terms are provided before you pay.

Is this therapy, or can it sit alongside therapy?

This is coaching, not psychotherapy or mental-health treatment. Our focus is your goals, choices, and how you apply the work in daily life. If you are looking for diagnosis or treatment, a licensed mental-health professional is the appropriate starting point. If you already have a therapist, we can discuss how to keep the roles clear.

What does a program cost?

Your selected program shows its full program investment beside the $500 deposit, before you book or enroll. The deposit is credited toward the total, not added on. Any usual starting monthly package is a separate purchase unless your agreement says otherwise; we will show the combined commitment before you decide.

Can I pay in installments, and what am I committing to?

I am not currently accepting insurance. Sliding-scale pricing can be negotiated as needed. Your program investment shows the full coaching fee. The balance owed to Kairosia is due at least seven days before the program or monthly period ends. A $500 direct-payment program deposit is credited toward the total. Eligible third-party financing may spread your repayments beyond that date; approval, interest, and terms are set by the provider. Open Payment options in your chosen offer for an example and confirm the written terms before paying. The introductory conversation is free and does not enroll you.

WHEN YOU’RE READY

Where do you want
to find your footing?

You may already know the next step. You may only know that something needs to change. Either is enough to begin a conversation.

We’ll discuss your goals, the options, and your questions before you decide.
